Since the company was founded, ARNOLD has developed from a screw producer into a prosperous and highly innovative fastener manufacturer and is now present in Germany, France, North America and Asia. The specialist in fasteners attributes its success story not only to the foresight of important company personalities and many years of expertise, but above all to the commitment of its employees.
ARNOLD has been part of the Würth Group since the mid-1990s. The two companies have had a special relationship for a long time, as Adolf Würth placed his first order for screws with ARNOLD in 1945. Prof. Dr. h. c. mult. Reinhold Würth recalled the beginnings in his speech at the anniversary celebration: "As a ten-year-old boy, I was allowed to travel with my father from Künzelsau to ARNOLD in a cow cart to buy the first screws for my father's newly founded screw wholesaler. That was in 1945, and it laid the foundation for a trusting partnership that continues to this day." He adds: "It is impressive to see how far-sighted ARNOLD is when it comes to future challenges and how much passion the company puts into research and development."
The company wants to build on its previous success story and has positioned itself well for the future. "Our world is changing constantly and ever faster. We at ARNOLD see this change as an opportunity and use it for our further development, for example in the development of connecting parts for the production of electric vehicles," emphasizes Dirk Döllner, CEO of the ARNOLD Group.
ARNOLD is aware of its social responsibility for future generations, which is firmly anchored in its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) principles. In this way, the ARNOLD Group always generates added value for the regions in which it does business. Secure jobs and long-term corporate success also determine the company's actions. Improving resource efficiency, increasing raw material productivity and conserving natural resources are further strategic goals that ARNOLD systematically implements.
The sustainable strategic approach is reflected in all business areas. Production processes such as "ACO2-Save - Fasteners for Future", which protect the climate, reduce material consumption and cut costs at the same time, are therefore just as important to ARNOLD as sustainable mobility concepts in the industrial environment. A CO2 calculation accompanying the development of new parts ensures a significant reduction in CO2. ARNOLD relies on material-saving forming technology in production, which enables consistent downsizing to smaller dimensions. Even in the digital age, the ARNOLD Group sees itself as a reliable partner with a comprehensive sustainability strategy on an ecological, economic and social level, which has a positive impact on the carbon footprint of each individual product.
