Modern VR technology of tomorrow

The ARNOLD VR data glasses are offered in a rental model and are equipped with a full-fledged Microsoft Teams account. Documents such as drawings, circuit diagrams or assembly instructions can be displayed and shared in real time. Operators and technicians on site see and hear exactly what the operator at ARNOLD also perceives. The glasses have voice control and allow users to work with commands such as "Open Teams and call ARNOLD Service". Supported by Bluetooth headsets or similar devices, this is also possible in noisy production environments. ARNOLD's specialists can also navigate directly in the field of view of the VR glasses using the mouse cursor and show the user important points. This facilitates precise guidance, and troubleshooting and troubleshooting are significantly accelerated.

 

Efficient remote maintenance

ARNOLD specialists connect to the system via the remote maintenance module and VPN connections such as Forticlient or Pulse Secure. Alternatively, ARNOLD provides a preconfigured VPN router. The connection is established via Wi-Fi, LAN, or mobile network. A key switch allows customers to activate access as needed and maintain control. In the event of a malfunction, ARNOLD Service requests activation of the VPN connection. The issue is clarified jointly and documented in the ticket system. If remote clarification is not possible, a service call is scheduled and carried out. For maintenance work, the technicians analyze the system data and bring the necessary spare parts with them. The service log and remote session are documented and stored as a data record on the system. Ideally, circuit diagrams, operating instructions, parts lists, and PLC programs are also available there.

  • Daily/shift log: Maintenance and repair work is documented; images, files, and documents can be attached
  • Alarm functions: Actuators and sensors with limit values; exceeding these values triggers a logbook entry or email notification

Data security is a top priority

  • Access only via secure VPN connections, approval by customers (e.g., key switch)

Data storage possible via:
