PIAS® HN
The power nut for the most demanding requirements

The PIAS® HN self-piercing insert nut was developed specifically for thicker sheet metal. In this area of application, it achieves very high torque and pull-out values, which are crucial for structurally resilient connections.

The self-piercing process makes the maximum possible material volume available, which is displaced into the locking contour during the setting process. This optimal material displacement ensures a particularly form-fitting lock and thus enables excellent performance values in aluminum. The PIAS® HN self-piercing nut is a self-piercing fastening solution designed for sheet thicknesses from 0.80 in to 1.57 in. It is suitable for steel sheets with a sheet strength of 250 MPa to 600 MPa.

piercing

Cutting
costs

Thanks to its special geometry and self-punching process, the PIAS® HN achieves very high extrusion and torque values in steel sheets, which are often required in this thickness range in particular. It thus offers a reliable and high-performance fastening technology for demanding applications.
