As part of the “We for Hohenlohe” initiative, three employees from ARNOLD UMFORMTECHNIK visited the third-graders at Forchtenberg elementary school for a special cooking event. The aim of the event was to introduce the children to the versatility of the potato in a fun way and encourage them to enjoy healthy eating. Together with the ARNOLD UMFORMTECHNIK team, the pupils were able to prepare various potato dishes and get to know the regional tuber in different variations. With a great deal of enthusiasm and a pinch of creativity, delicious dishes were created that delighted the young chefs. The highlight of cooking together was the sweet potato waffles, which went down particularly well and will be remembered by the children as a new favorite recipe.
“This event was enriching for everyone involved,” explains Kerstin Feuersinger, an employee at ARNOLD UMFORMTECHNIK. “We not only want to raise the children's awareness of healthy, regional food, but also show them how much fun cooking together can be.”
Special thanks go to the dedicated teachers and parents who made this campaign possible with their active support. The “We for Hohenlohe” initiative is an important part of ARNOLD UMFORMTECHNIK's social commitment and relies on the valuable exchange with the local community in order to set sustainable impulses.
