Stuttgart, April 9, 2025 - Another milestone on the road to a sustainable future: ARNOLD Umformtechnik GmbH & Co. KG has joined the Baden-Württemberg Climate Alliance, underlining its consistent commitment to active climate protection. State Secretary Dr. Andre Baumann presented the certificate of membership to Bernd Weidner, COO of ARNOLD, at the Climate Evening in Stuttgart.
“Our 2040 vision at ARNOLD is clear - we want to operate in a climate-neutral way by 2040 at the latest, in production, in the supply chain and beyond,” emphasized Weidner in his speech. “To achieve this, we are relying on technology, a spirit of innovation and strong partnerships. We are resolutely tackling the challenges surrounding the availability of green hydrogen and green steel in particular. We are convinced that together with our partners, we will successfully shape this path.”
As a technology leader in the field of fastening technology, ARNOLD is already developing solutions that combine efficiency, resource conservation and sustainability under the claim Blue Fastening Systems. In addition to the continuous optimization of production processes, the focus is on cooperation with suppliers and customers along the entire value chain.
The Baden-Württemberg Climate Alliance sees itself as a central platform for companies that want to put climate protection into practice and exchange ideas. ARNOLD is one of the eleven new members that joined in 2025. The network now comprises a total of 64 companies, which together set a strong example for a sustainable economy.
“For us, joining the Baden-Württemberg Climate Alliance is another logical step on our path to a climate-neutral future,” Weidner continues. “As part of this network, we not only want to learn and exchange ideas, but also provide impetus and take responsibility.”
